Yeah I think we can close the book on Blake being anything at this point. Hes closer to being unemployed then being an organizational arm at this point sadly.

Seriously, maybe he can be a decent reliever...

I'm a Blake fan. He is not developing...still time since he's a lefty. They can click late.

Tim Peterson continues to quietly impress. Now at 6 innings, no runs, 14 Ks.

I'm not entirely clear why he doesn't get ANY attention. I realize his pure stuff may not be eye popping but less productive non-Bautista types receive a lot more attention than this guy. Is his stuff far below a guy like Sewald? I find it hard to believe.

Last scouting report I saw (which is admittedly from a long time ago) says he was at about 93-94. Not sure why that + results would leave management skeptical.

Justin Dunn
Mets RHP
Notes:
Team: high Class A St. Lucie (Florida State)
Age: 22
Why He’s Here: 2-0, 0.00, 10 IP, 8 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 14 SO, 3 BB, 0 HR

The Scoop: After a rough turn with high Class A last year, Dunn returned to St. Lucie to begin 2018. And this time, he appears to have found his groove. The former college closer at Boston College opened his year with 14 punchouts in 10 innings, or nearly 20 percent of the strikeouts he achieved over 95.1 innings in the Florida State League in 2017. (JN)

Lauer would have looked nice in this spot. Hopefully Dunn keeps moving forward.

He pitched in spring at least 1x on SNY this spring and was more like 87-88.

Game went into extras (5-5) after Drew Smith blew the save (Regnault charged for the tying run). Top of the 11th, Vegas scores 4, ends up wining 9-6.

Evans with 4 hits. Brings him up to .290 on the year.
2 hits by Guillorme, he's back up over 200 after an 0 for 16 stretch last week.
2 hits for newcomer Johnny Monell - his first game with the team.
