Insurance run by Cabrera!

He’s an adventure on the base paths lol

Nice to see him feel good enough to run though

I wish he'd go back to being less spry.

Well great little rally and that was a big insurance run, but was Sherlock giving him the stop sign halfway to third? Why else would Cabrera slide halfway?

Huge win. Very nice. Bullpen was clutch.

Solid win. Definitely feels like the Mets stole one here.

Oh man, Jay Bruce really is out of sorts - forgot to take his hat off for the postgame golf handshake.

Tremendous win to get to 14-5. Familia looked very good. Dusted off a 94 MPH split too.

Satisfying win, hard to win extra innings on the road. Nido made some nice throws.

Andy Green let Tyson Ross throw 127 pitches with a no-hit bid going in the 8th inning. He lost it when Franchy Cordero misjudged a ball in CF.

Would it kill Mickey to give Nimmo a start for Bruce tomorrow?

And will this game get Nido another start before Noah's next turn??

We talked about this period being an opportunity for Nido to show something. Well tonight he did some good things. Hopefully this will get him some more starts. There's little to gain from going with Lobaton.

Given the injury history not the greatest idea. But nice comeback story by Ross over his first three starts

Again, not a Nido believer myself long term (still think the Jose Molina thing holds), but it is shocking if no one recognizes that he at least appears to do some baseball things well.

There is literally nothing Jose Lobaton does other than volunteer to put on the equipment.

Again, if they don't want to run with Nido, upgrading on Lobaton is not hard.

Yeah Nido needs to get some run here. Nido is clearly the better defender and has a nice arm. He threw out two runners so he goes to the front of the line based on that. Lobaton really offers nothing.

Also very nice to see Ramos hitting 93 too, he loves to throw slop but I like he challenged hitters with the FB. His numbers have been solid, it's been the walks that have hurt him in his outings.
