Other than beginning with the fallacious assumption that Ces is the Mets' best hitter, this is a really good article referencing both Mick's 7,000 word manifesto and TC the T-Rex. It also manages to make Harvey look both somewhat endearing and still jerky in the same breath.

But since then the Mets have found themselves in one of the most terrifying tailspins in club history. The players are pro athletes and should be self starters and come out and play motivated baseball regardless of who the manager is. But you have to believe the constant drumbeat of poor moves is starting to weigh heavily on their psyche. The players understand the game as well and you'd better believe his situational baseball "knowledge" and decisions are leaving the Mets players shaking their heads and checking out early. Sure they'll eventually get it together to win a few but that know with Mickey constantly getting schooled that it's a fruitless endeavor
Mickey Callaway made some bold lineup moves in search of offense that paid early dividends, but then he made some curious bullpen decisions that may well have cost the Mets still another ballgame.
