Pillars war according to baseball reference
2015 4.9
2016 3.5
2017 2.8
2018 2.0
I'm not a mathematician, or sabrematrician, or anything of that nature but I think that is a bad trend.

Pillar is what Lagares would look like if he'd stay healthy.

Sounds like the Giants will be another team in the market for a GM. I guess it's not certain that the O's are going to replace Dan Duquette, so it may be only 2 teams making FO changes, but possibly 3. I don't know if there are any more than that.

That's the kind of trend the Mets love "2016 the guy was a difference maker! 2015 a potential star!!"

Tvators: Syndergaard to Padres, Last week’s chat Jeff (admittedly off the cuff) said maybe Paddack, Espinosa, Hedges. That feels real light to me, I wouldn’t expect Tatis, but Noah would have to bring back more than that? What you say?

Kiley McDaniel: I wouldn’t say that’s real light, but probably one more solid piece or swap in a top 100-150 prospect for Hedges

I swear this wasn't me.

Jake McGee or Bryan Shaw for Jay Bruce- who says no?

Mets. I just feel some odd sense of dedication to giving Bruce a ton of run at 1B/OF

That's about the kind of trade you're looking for with Bruce though if you're set on getting rid of him. He doesn't have much trade value but can be better...just like McGee and Shaw can be better outside of the Coors prison.

Shaw for Bruce and cash. Sign Andrew Miller. Reunites Mickey with the 2016-17 Indians bullpen. Familiarity and all that.

Minor league contract, Spring Training invite?

Pretty fair deal for a 34 year old who pitched 4.2 innings.

lol Baseball Cube actually had Miller pitching 4.2 innings but it was a bit more than that, Baseball Reference is more accurate evidently
