It goes back to the team's first days. They were bad, there was no hiding it. So Lindsey, Ralph and Bob built up interest for the old NL fans by talking up the opponents.

It became their way. And it's mostly carried on. Gary learned from Murph, Ron and Keith from Gary and Ralph.

Right. There's a certain organizational style when it comes to the broadcasting and GKR didn't invent it.

Gary, Keith, and Ron are the gold standard, but they Yankee TV teams are pretty good.

I watch a lot of Yankee games and for the most part o think they are fine. Especially O'Neill and Cone. Cone is analytics crazy. He should pass a little along to his ex teammates.
