And another Met reliever took the L (this time Blackham). Zanghi with another scoreless inning, though.

I am still a believer in Dez Lindsey...I think he is one good year from putting himself back on the map...a wonderful toolsy set.

Unfortunately beset by Fernando Martinez syndrome.

I don't know if I actually have any faith in Dez or I just feel the need for a CF but every time he does anything good it sucks me back in.

Crismatt started for Licey last night and threw 4 innings in what turned into a 19 inning game. He allowed 3 runs (only 1 earned) a walk and a K.

Tim Peterson pitched a scoreless inning for Toro in the game striking out 3.

Valdespin ended up pitching 4 scoreless innings for Toro!

oh and Jenrry Mejia started for Toro and went 3 innings, giving up 2 ER on 4 hits, a walk and a K.

How about Anderson Hernandez getting the win?!

And Dominic Smith went 0 for 8.

Box score is something to behold. Some amazing names in there. How about Felix Pie, a name I never thought I'd see again.

Was wondering whether Andres Gimenez was one of the youngest players ever to play in the AFL but then I remembered that Vlad Jr is there. He's about 6 months younger than AG.

VGJ is the youngest player in the AFL but there are a couple more 19 year olds I see. I think all of them will turn 20 over the next few weeks though. Gimenez was 20 in September.

I thought Felix Pie was going to be a star in the majors.
