95-96 from Familia. Good 91mph splitter to get Soto.

Strong inning from Familia. Need to get Wilson (who will be back in a few days) and Familia back on track with a few low leverage spots to string some consistent outing/results and gain confidence.

Is Font better than any of Bashlor/Gagnon/Zamora? because he might stay over these guys if Matz/Wilson/Vargas are back by this weekend. These decisions will be coming in 3-4 days.

41 games in the books, just over 25%, probably 3.5 games back after tonight. Mets have to take these games seriously and starting Font/Vargas is not taking the season serious enough imo.

To win this division you must take massive calculated risk. Braves called up their big prospects, get aggressive with Villinies/Gilliam to give you depth to make the necessary rotation moves.

Uh. Any guy here could have told you that Bashlor and Zamora were better prospects than Rhame and O'Rourke. Not "good job."

It would have took sandy months to make this assessment and make "forever decisions".
it only tooks a week at most. Celebrate progress.

My Roster for success, no money just moves. Move FAST.

Add Lugo to rotation, release Vargas/Font (yes you have to admit dumb move on Font but move on fast). If need a spot start go to Gagnon and go to Villinies/Gilliam or best performing AAA P to fIll depth in pen.

BP Familia/Wilson/Diaz/Gman/Gagnon/Zamora/Bashlor

Release Broxton call up Gomez. Start Davis every day at 3b until Lowrie is healthy and release Frazier once Lowrie is on the active roster. Once Lowrie is fully healthy (has played a few games at SS) release Hech and find the best bat you can to add to bench as well now that we dont need a Hech/Guilorme pure backup SS. might even go 8th RP if there is no bat out there worth it as you get in the dog days opening up times to get a spot start if you need to give your rotation a blow. Or even save appearances from your top RP guys.

Be aggressive pursing Kimbrel day after draft. Start looking in the trade market for C and backup MI IF depth.

I see Cameron Rupp was recently released, so was Carlos Torres and Jerry Blevins- id kick the tires here for minor league deals/depth as well.

After Bashlor spent the last three-plus months on the major league roster last season while Rhame et al were wasting away in Vegas? Sure.

Well, I guess it was too much to hope for that we'd found our replacement for Vargas. Who starts next? Gagnon?
