Patty Maz is hot.

3 Run homer, RBI single already this AM against a LHP.

3 HR and 12 RBI in his last four games. That definitely qualifies as hot.

Nice to see Kay continue his great stretch and Peterson showing some promise.

up to 782 OPS highest OPS Nido ever put up past A ball was 735. nido is younger and has better D.

Backup C plays 40-50 games a year, not a bad prospect status.

.333 .382 .529 .911 since April 27th second game. Maybe it is clicking at this level.

Sometimes a hot streak is needed to get a kid over the hump at a particular level.

Kay is definitely in need of promotion, BBs aside...

Nogosek hasn't pitched since the 10th. Wonder if it is something amiss...or normal extra rest for him?

He pitched today, and Binghamton gets rained out every other day it seems. Normal.

Either way, he still ain't that interesting with those walks.

No use in comparing Nido and Mazeika's stats. Nido's glove is his carrying tool and it's what has kept a bunch from viewing Maz as a legit prospect.

Maz is a better hitting prospect than Nido, duh.

Yeah, well in the only catcher defensive stat that matters - his winning percentage in games he starts - Nido leaves a lot to be desired. .468. Hmph.

Dedniel doubled his season walk total in tonight's start.

He was cruising through four innings but lost control in the 5th loading the bases with three consecutive base on balls before being pulled. Carlos Hernandez allowed a pair of Nunez's runners to score.

Nunez allowed just three ground ball singles and struck out seven. While the final line ain't great, wasn't like he got beat around the park.

Final line: 4+ IP, 3 H, 2 R, 4 BB, 7 K
