Baggy workout clothes, and he's just insanely big. If he's healthy and can play most of the season, then you're looking at comeback player of the year and a monster that will force pitchers to face Alonso.

I am more of a Ces fan than most, but nothing in that video makes me think he's ready to play MLB baseball as an outfielder.

Jessica Mendoza has resigned. Presumably the realization that Jeff is going nowhere fast lead her to this decision.

I'm looking forward to finding out who replaces her so I can have a better idea of what it was she actually did.

Asked whether he was comfortable with such people cherry-picking their “mode,” as opposed to the common sense of always representing everyone who pays them, Manfred said, “Let me give you a short answer on that one: No. I’m not all that comfortable with it. I’m really not. But it’s a topic that remains under discussion internally. As you know, it causes a lot of complications, not just on this particular incident or comments, but in general.”

The Mets also employ MLB Network analyst Al Leiter as a baseball operations adviser.

The Mets may have asked Mendoza to leave after her comments about the Astros scandal, considering that they had to part ways with Beltran over it.

Considering it was likely tough for him to work on cardio when he had surgery on his heels and ankle, im not shocked he looks a little big. He’s working hard though...and he may slim down a tad but he’s always been kinda big moreso in his later years.

Not for nothing but we all wanted Chaim Bloom, but man his first deal in Boston has become almost as big a fiasco as Brodie's Cano deal, from being fleeced to trying to back out of the deal after said criticism of being fleeced.

How was he fleeced? No team is giving up top prospect for a rental who will want 400 mill contract.

Also Rays traded Pagan for Margot & a prospect.

He gave up Betts ‘and’ Price who’s still useful despite his contract and got back Verdugo and a prospect his former team said would be a reliever and apparently the Sox were shocked to find out they were telling the truth.

Boston has just saved a ton of cash. Price has 3 years 96 mill left. That is 1 of worst contracts in MLB. They lost Betts who rejected 300+ million dollar offers. They were losing him anyway so they might as well avoid the luxury and start over. They added Verdugo,Downs and Wong. I like Graterol...and Dodgers do too.

Red Sox still paying 48M... wow. Wouldn’t you think more teams would have been in the mix for those 2 players given what the Sox are paying $ ? Other thing is couldn’t the Sox have gotten more by de-coupling Price from Betts? I guess Downs and Verdugo are nice prospects but I would expect at least that for Betts. And then you can’t tell me Price has no value at 16M per.
