The Cubs are sinking. The Brewers should cool off soon.

The Phillies' real goal is to finish above .500.

I agree with 2/3 of that. The Brewers aren't cooling off against the Pirates though.

The Pirates have to win eventually... I think lol

Cubs are imploding today. Mets could pass them by the time they finish up in Cincinnati.

Unfortunately, I think that we need to win out to have a realistic chance. Brewers aren't losing to the Pirates. We can hope that they lose to Gray and Castillo when they play the Reds and lose one in Colorado.

Cubs fought back in the 7th to take an 8-7 lead.

Kimbrel coughed it up in the 9th on back-to-back homers. 9-8 Cardinals heading into the bottom of the 9th. Their season is slipping away.

20 pitchers were used in the Red Sox- Rays game. That has to be a record. Holy crap.

Nats lose to the Marlins.

I still think we need an absolute miracle to make it to the postseason.

I can see the Nats easily going 3 and 5 their final 8 games. I can see the Mets winning the next 4 against the Marlins. But I'd be shocked if they swept the Braves. But since this is the 50th anniversary of the Miracle Mets then why the heck not?

The Marlins might be playing harder than the Braves.

For the Marlins, this is their post season.

For the Braves, that will be a time to rest regulars before the NLDS.

Regardless, the Mets cannot lose any more games.
