Brewers & Nats won, Cubs lost. Tough year to be a Cubs fan, but like us, they're used to it.

All they needed to to take the next step was an elite closer.

Turns out he cost them their season.

Didn't see that coming. I was all in on the Kimbrel train when he was a FA.

These players signing incredibly late deals are having more bust seasons than not.

The union has to fight for change to stop this from happening. Keuchal is an exception, not the norm.

Well, the Brewers put up a six spot on the Reds in the top of the 1st. So it looks like it's pretty much officially over.

And it's official. Cubs & Mets eliminated. Brewers and Nats in. I'll bet their 7 game losing streak means it hurts worse for them than it does for us.

Go Brewers!!! Kick those Nats to the curb.

Bummer.

But what a run by the young hitters on this team. They have an exciting core to keep building around.

No doubt the Cubs last two weeks of the season was a major collapse. But you know they won the World Series in 2016 so I really don't feel bad for them. I probably wouldn't have felt so bad about this year if the Mets had won in 2015.
