I never gave up on him, but I remember when he was struggling big time. It's nice to see him playing well.
DeGrom (6 innings so far) has a 22 scoreless inning streak going. I think his personal best is 27, earlier this year extending into last year. Not sure what the mets scorelss inning record is.

Remember when we all gave up on Rosario?
Personally... nope.
Also, glad Nimmo made his way back before the season ended to regain some confidence heading into the offseason/2020. Probably wouldn't have left a good taste in his mouth to have the start he did and then get injured for the remainder of the season.

deGrom leaves with a 23 inning scoreless streak. Not bad.
This is his last start, so his numbers are final. Nice season. Great 2nd half. His 2nd half numbers were slightly better than last year's numbers, and that's hard to do.

Todd Frazier shown throwing a towel white towel. It was toward Jim Riggleman and prankish, but I find this fitting. This team didn’t give up (pardon the cliche I don’t feel like expanding on it; if you watched this team, you know what I’m taking about) the entire year, until they were mathematically eliminated. Only now does this team admit defeat.

I don’t think this deserves any particular credit. Many expected them to go farther than this.
