Arizona Fall League 2019

I didn't realize, it's already started. Who knew?

Some mets to watch this year (if you watch the AFL).

Gimenez off to a nice start, hitting .333

Carpio hitting .364 (hate me for saying it if you like, but I could see Brodie dangling Gimenez and maybe Carpio in trade talks)

Ali Sanchez still can't hit - needs to work on that. Maz there too.

And pitchers Humphreys (6.2 scoreless so far), Peterson (6.1 scoreless), Ryan Gilliam (4.1 scoreless) and Blake Taylor.

I definitely see Gimenez as trade bait. Rosario played very well in the second half. Mauricio is coming up behind him. If they want to improve the big league roster without spending a lot on free agents, that's how they'll have to do it - trade more prospects.

Not that I wish to do so, but Gimenez and Smith are at least dealing from depth. However, teams want pitchers so I am not sure either alone or in a package is going to fetch much and they cannot afford to deplete the pitching even more.
