I guess with the expanded roster they will need another body around. Not sure it needs to be a MI type

So with it coming out BVW was pursuing Panda, it’s clear as day that Lowrie is forever broken.

So guess the Mets are really looking for a backup INF who can basically play 2B/3B

I’d be down for Brad Miller.

Duffy would have been the choice but I think the Rangers just signed him so I would check down to Forsythe, or Gyorko if he’s still available.

Yes to this point it seems as if they are intending to keep a LH hitting 1Bman for the 26th roster spot, rather than use it for a 3rd C or some other versatile glove. Nope, it’s going to be a bat-only.

Gyorko went to the Brewers (1 year, 2 million). Forsythe is still out there though.

As long as Lowrie is around that is your depth at second and third...

They signed Nunez, Adams, Rivera as the depth I guess.

Nunez piques my interest. I know he's going to be 33 and was terrible the last two years, but in the not so distant past, he hit a nifty .315/.341/.460/.801, swiping 24 pillows for the Giants and BoSox. If he's healthy, I think he can help the cause.

Marlins DFAed two lefty relievers who, in a very crude recalling of the times we’ve faced them, always seemed to
Impress. Quijada and Garcia. Given lefty relief internally here I’d swap out Rhame for either.

Cozart is also available at league minimum and worth a shot in a UT role if healthy.

If Rosenthal is right, today should be Mookie Betts trade day.
