Alvarez followed by Vientos for me. Yeah it’s Vientos before Baty until it becomes a little more clear what to expect from Baty. Vientos is also younger than Baty and has 2 years of experience in the bank already. I’m expecting him to have a big year in PSL.

I think Vientos and Baty are very close, but I have Vientos ahead of him too, but it would be a nice surprise if Baty proved me wrong and impressed this year.

I get the thought process behind putting Vientos ahead of Baty but I'm not on board. Yeah, they have similar profiles, but there's a reason Baty was taken so high despite his age. Vientos' has never gotten quite the effusive praise that Baty's gets. We'll see how it works out this year -- Vientos should start in St Lucie and Baty in Cola.

Nominate Junior Santos next. 6’8 profile fastball 90-95, good slider, plus control, still working on his change up. Down Year in Kingsport in 2019.

An hour left! Can Baty catch up to Alvarez?

Vientos was mocked as a mid 1st rounder a year before his draft while Batty moved up little by little before his after being seen as a 2nd round talent.

IIRC, Vientos' projection defensively (at 3B or having to move to 1B) and a mediocre last 2 months of his Senior season knocked him out of the 1st round.

I'm with you in that Vientos as of right now is right there w/Batty.

And thanks for doing going this for us, HT!!
