After Henderson violently elbows Hansbrough after the game is decided, Coach K had this to say:
"The game was over, it's unfortunate they had those people in the game then."
Wow, why don't you just admit you ordered the hit? People look the other way all the time on Dook pulling this crap, so they get away with it. I would tell Coach Ratface to go to hell, but he's already coaching in it.
What I found weird about this statement is the fact that ten seconds before Hansborough gets a nosejob, Duke is fouling and running a full court press. That kind of play is not indicative of Coach K's sentiment of the game being over.
With that said, I am not sure if Henderson meant to rearrange Hansborough's face. I haven't seen the replay enough. And it wouldn't make sense for Coach K to have one of his better players in Henderson commit that foul. If Coach K ordered a hit, it wouldn't be with Henderson.

Henderson's expression when he clothes-lined Hansborough didn't strike me as accidental. The look on his face looked so malicious in intent if you see it all in slow motion. I wonder if he was a hired gun by Coach K. to take one of the UNC starters out of a game clearly won? I know that's a big accusation to make but I don't put that pass any coach in college basketball. I even believe Roy Williams had his starters out there purposely too.

final game of the season, rivalry game, final game of their career at the dean dome for a lot of the starters (certainly for terry, maybe for Tyler), and duke was fouling and pressing down to the wire.
Coach K proects one image for commercials and coaches in an entirely different manner with his cursing and attempts to intimidate. Henderson threw an elbow macho man would ahve been proud of in his prime, and it was pretty dang clear he was fouling intentionally hard out of frustration. It was just classless and so is Coach K for essentially trying to shift the blame for Carolina.
What's even more ridiculous is the way Billy Packer blathers on and on about how it clearly wasn't intentional, Henderson was going for the ball, he had his head turned... blah blah blah. Could he have his head farther up Coach K's ass?

Hansborough's nose is broken.
He's likely to play in the ACC Tourney.
Coach K should be ashamed of himself, that was obviously a cheap shot.
