They're taking ESPN Classic off my basic cable and putting it on digital, which I don't feel like paying for.

How to deal with this situation:
1) Call Comcast.
2) Complain about them moving Classic to digital.
3) Tell them how fed up you are.
4) Threaten to leave because you've heard great things about DirecTV.
5) They don't want you to leave. They'll offer you a deal to get you to stay.

KIX???? yeah it was weird, they moved classic to digital at my house over the summer. Didn't seem like a problem (seeing as my family has digital cable on a couple of the tv's in the house, so it was just a matter of trying to remember what channel it was now on.) the problem set in when I'd be watching t.v. in the basement where we don't have digital cable and i'd realize i couldn't watch classic.
