Just started getting these, they're both annoying and intrusive...

Why do I need to get an e-mail to tell me that there's a new reply to the thread I'm reading? :?

is it every thread or just one?

If its just one, go to the bottom left of the thread page, look to see if it says:

"Watch this topic for replies" or the alternative "Stop watching this topic for replies".... if "stop" is there, click it and the notifications should stop.

The "Setup" link in the top navbar will allow you to turn of autonotification globally.

Click the above link, scroll down, turn off autonotification. 8)
