Jamacianmetsfan,

Great pick with Molitor. I honestly would have taken him two-three rounds ago, but he was 50 games short of qualifying at 2B :(

Mex and Moose -- those were my next two picks.

And I'm kind of glad about that.

You know what would be cool. Can we trade?

I had actually thought about that earlier, but then I just kinda thought it didn't make much sense.

For one, most trades would be trading a bunch of "lesser" players for one really good one. So that means you'd have to drop players you drafted from your roster, while the other team would have to draft some more.

That, and the fact that this is all going to be judged by personal opinion, and not by any actual games or anything, made trades pointless to me. But if others want to give it a shot, we can certainly put it up to a vote.

I'm not for or against trading, but there could be a rule that each team has to send and receive the same number of players. That would be hard to do, but it could be easier if 3 and 4 team trades are allowed.

Hey everybody,

My parents 30th wedding anniversary is this weekend, so I'm not going to be anywhere near a computer this weekend. Though I won't be able to update, hopefully, the draft can go forward -- I'm going to send my list of picks in to somebody, and I've let DrWorm know to check the site -- so, there shouldn't be a lull on those parts.

As always, if anybody going to miss some selections, be sure that the person you're sending your picks to will be there to make them.

Thanks!

In honor of our first manager being selected here is a quote from Ted Williams:
All managers are losers, they are the most expendable pieces of furniture on the face of the Earth.

I'm amazed -- I PMed my picks to three people and nobody looked at them all weekend. I figured somebody would!

That's incredibly unfortunate, and I really do apologize. Again.
