How many teams? Standard 5x5?

You probably had a top-5 pick if you nabbed Reyes, and if that's the case, you got good value with Rollins late in the 2nd round, but I HATE filling my utility spot so early. You really handcuffed yourself for the rest of the draft, and you probably could've gotten the same kind of production at a different position and filled your Utility spot later.

Pretty good speed, ok power but you have a few guys I'm not big on. First, Weiters is a big-time prospect, good chance he'll do at least what Soto did as a rook last year, but he may not even get called up until sometime in May. Maybe I missed something, but I haven't heard anything that would indicate he'll be the starting catcher in April, and even once he is, he'll probably not catch more than 3/5 games to start off with.

I don't like Atkins much, his numbers have dropped pretty steadily the last two or three years, and I wouldn't expect him to all of a sudden turn around. He'll be serviceable, but I hope you didn't overpay for him.

I don't like Butler because the Royals have Jacobs and a guy in the minors (Ka'ahiue) waiting to take over 1B, so I don't know how much you need him. Besides, you already have Sandoval, no need for two backup 1B.

Crisp is ok, but we know what we're getting for him, and it's not that great. You might be better off trying to nab a low-eisk/high-reward guy to backup your outfield, someone like Andrew Mccutchen, Cameron Maybin, Lastings Milledge or elijah Dukes. They may not put up great numbers, but they've all got potential to be 20/20 at least (except Mccutchen, he's more of a 40 steal guy, Dukes may end up being 30/30 before all is said and done. Maybe not this year, but maybe so.)

Pitching staff is ok on paper, but there's a pretty good chance it'll be a lot better than that, at least the starting rotation. Unless your league doesn't use saves, you'd better pick up another closer because Bell isn't going to get it done all by himself. Broxton's closing for the Dodgers, so unless you know something I don't, you'll be missing a lot of saves. Whether it's roto or H2H, it's a category you'll be losing week in and week out.

Then again, I have absurdly high standards for my teams, so maybe I'm being a little too critical...

Thanks for the advice Texas Flats.

The draft was autopick so this was the team I was given.

I've added Joe Nathan and Jayson Werth via trade for Wells and Bradley.

I dropped Wieters, Butler and Sheets.

Added Yadier Molina, Brandon Lyon and Felipe Lopez.

Still looking to upgrade at catcher and in the bullpen.

What catchers are still available, by any chance? Jeff Clement could be solid this season, and if the logjam ever clears up, Taylor Teagarden could be too.

I don't much care for auto-drafts, I just don't see the fun in it...

I don't have my lists on me, but I think Hernandez was the highest on that list, he should be good for ~.255 and 15 homers. He's probably the surest thing, at least right now. I'd wait to see what happens with the logjam behind the plate before jumping on Salty or Teagarden (though if it does clear, jump quickly), and Snyder will probably end up losing time to Miguel Montero. So second on the list would probably be Flores, he could actually do ok this year, he might have 20 HR potential, as long as he's playing full time. Suzuki, maybe if those other options are gone, but he's too streaky and has no pop.
