I would've MUCH rather had Mitch Haniger signed. That was the Matz draft, iirc.

Ha.

Bump this, suckers.......

Rotoworld:

Quote:

White Sox OF prospect Mason Robbins tallied a career-high five hits Monday in a win for High-A Winston-Salem.

All of his hits were singles. Robbins has contributed at least two hits in seven of his last 10 games. He's hit .477 during that span while raising his average from .296 to .318. The 23-year-old leads the Carolina League in batting average and hits this year but his on base percentage sits at a relatively low .333 thanks to an unusually low walk rate (eight walks in 370 plate appearances).

I'd rather them put the effort into signing Nimmo, Matthews and Reed, three very signable talents. Heck even Budgell and Montgomery...

Robbins really is not enough of a talent at a premium position to get held up. Signing Tuschak (if he truly is signing), and Nimmo more than make up for Robbins not signing.

Right on Matthews, Reed and Nimmo

Way wrong on Tuschak...way way wrong.
