Not surprising, and at least we tried.

Really though, I'm watching and thinking that even for a high school kid, he seems not all that interested...in well anything...except money.

Be that as it may.

Most of the guys we cry about fade away into obscurity and we soon forget about them.

I'd like to start seeing at least a couple of them colleging their ways into the top 3 rounds.

Yes, colleging is a word.

Use it in Scrabble.

Of course, hasn't done anything sign signing now.

Steve Karsay said exactly how I feel about players like Reed who discuss money:

@steve_karsay: @jimcallisBA sign and prove yourself and get to big leagues. Then Earn your money!

LOL come on guys. If we had met whatever his price was, how many of you would be killing the kid for being 'all about the money'?

People want to take these chances in the middle rounds and then get bent out of shape when they don't work out? Thats the game you're playing; the kid had a high number or he was going to get his college experience, at a top-flight athletic program. That doesn't make him a bad person.

Not saying it does. I was more thinking how apathetic he sounded about going to school. He just wasn't enthusiastic about things, which turned me off. Not saying he's not enthusiastic about school, but it certainly didn't sound like it
