I was looking at the old archives and saw in 2007 we almost did a community mock draft. I was thinking it might be fun. There are 30 teams and I doubt 30 people sign up so for now.... I'm thinking the first round and then the sandwich wound maybe everyone choose 2 teams? Yeah I'm gonna be a jerk and take the Mets since it's my idea! lol and I'll take the Blue Jays because I've liked them dating back Alomar. The draft is June 4th. If we don't have enough teams reserved by this time next week people can pick up extra teams. Ideally people try and be "realistic" and not pick ridiculous players for the sake of humor or shock but there's not much that can be done if people opt to do that.
First Round
1. Houston Astros-Pornstache(Byron Buxton, Outfielder, Appling County HS in Baxley, Georgia.)
2. Minnesota Twins-Nmig (Carlos Correa, shortstop, Puerto Rico Baseball Academy, Puerto Rico.)
3. Seattle Mariners-It'sOuttaHere (Mike Zunino, Catcher, University of Florida)
4. Baltimore Orioles-MikeH (Kyle Zimmer, RHP, University of San Francisco)
5. Kansas City Royals-MJ (Kevin Gausman, RHP, THE Louisiana State University)
6. Chicago Cubs-MJ (Lucas Giolito, RHP, Harvard-Westlake HS
7. San Diego Padres- Acer (Mark Appel, RHP, Stanford)
8. Pittsburgh Pirates-Metro (Albert Almora, CF, Mater Academy Charter (Hialeh Gardens, Fla.)
9. Miami Marlins-GSguy (Max Fried, LHP, Harvard-Westlake School (CA))

I'll take Washington (where I go to school) and Miami (have a relative who works for them).

Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in this. Have to disclaim I get a LOT of whatever limited draft knowledge I have from reading the various threads and links in those threads from here, so I'm unlikely to have some sort of "sleeper" value guys ready to go, but I'll do my best to research drafting trends and all that by my teams.
Just going down the line since I have no real preference at this point, I'll take Royals and Cubs?

Let's be honest none of us are going to be "experts" on players we have seen very little if at all. I guess my only "request" is nobody takes someone ridiculous just to be "different" like some guy not in the top 500 at 7th overall.... wait the Cubs did that with Hayden Simpson lol
