How much do we have left to spend and can we add one of the two HS arms we took in the 11-12 round?

I think Paez agreed to a slot amount, if that one report was correct. Kay is the wildcard. He's reportedly asked for slot. If the mets had agreed, he'd probably be signed already.

10 days left. Deadline is July 15. If Kay goes unsigned, they get the #32 next year, so, not the end of the world.

Depends on what the mets offer and if he feels respected by their offer or insulted. There's really no way to know. Maybe the mets are fine with pushing this pick into next year and maybe Kay is fine with taking his chances next year. My guess is that they work out an agreement but it could go either way.
