Dibrell is a talented arm and good value here but he's been incredibly overused in college. Reguarly throws 120+ pitches.

Could be a power reliever if he breaks down though.

Sits 93-94, touching 96... tough to complain about that.

Jeff Ellis from Scout likes the pick a lot and had him going in the third

Frankie Piliere, combined with input from Cape Cod League coaches and MLB scouts.

83. Tony Dibrell | RHP | Kennesaw State (2017)
One of the rare Cape Cod All-Stars that can say he pitched for two different Cape teams in one summer, Dibrell started the summer with the Chatham and finished with Bourne. He was superb over a combined 39.1 innings, posting a 1.63 ERA and striking out 36 batters along the way. While not overpowering in terms of pure velocity, Dibrell still missed a number of bats with his fastball and got some ugly swings on his secondaries. And to his credit, he was able to net those swings and misses in a variety of ways. He worked mostly at 88-90 mph with his fastball, topping at 91 multiple times and occasionally 92 early on in his outings with late riding life. His best secondary offering was a tight 80-82 mph slider, flashing two plane depth. His command down in the zone with the slider was key to his success. The strong, long, lean 6-foot-3 righty also showed solid feel for his changeup at 79-82 mph. He kept his high arm slot up and his repeatable delivery allowed him to be very consistent with it. Although he didn't use it often, Dibrell also showed big depth and good shape to his 73-75 mph curveball. It showed consistent 11-5 shape and netted him some swings and misses against righties given his ability to spot it just below the knees. He had games where his control would lapse, but when he was right he could fill up the zone with four pitches.

The BP guy wrote up a report on him during a 9 IP, 145p outing.

This seems to be the "juiced" report.

Givarz said 89-92, t 93.

#Mets take Tony Dibrell from @KSUOwlsBaseball - 90-94 with a full four pitch mix and he can throw them all for strikes. Really nice athlete

Looks interesting. I'm good with this one. Good arm action.
