They said 1B on the call. The tracker just has it wrong.

Garay is a fan of the New York Yankees but, right now, that allegiance pales in comparison to his gratitude to the Mets.

“The Mets are a great organization too,” he said. “Not a lot of guys, especially from the northeast, get drafted. So being a New Yorker getting drafted by a New York organization is definitely special to me.”

Went to HS in Westchester. Was a walk on at SPC after playing at StJohn's his freshman year. He had a commit to go on to UNF after this year.
