I see that Keith Law did a mock lately. Does anyone know who he predicted would be our pick? He normally seems to be pretty in touch with Tanous and company.

...and to echo some previous thoughts, looks like we picked a good year to be at #6. Lots of players with a nice balance of floor and ceiling should be available. I'd like to get Bohm or Madrigal if possible; seems certain that Mize won't be there.

Yeah and btw Mize had a monster 15 K 0 walk game against Vandy on Friday. I don't think there is any doubt he's going #1 now.

Jonathan India, big helium guy heading towards decision day, is apparently not just a good 3B prospect but could play 2B according to some scouts.

Solid hit tool, projects for average power and has enough speed/instincts to be a decent basestealer as well.

Doesn't seem to have any holes in his game- although that doesn't necessarily mean he has a high ceiling either.

Interesting guy for sure.

I would not discount the possibility of the Mets taking him.

He's actually playing awesome this year and is hitting for Power this year

I think at #6 you should be great at something.

Dont disagree, I seem to remember some articles mentioning he might have the ability to handle short.... if you believe in such a thing, he becomes much more interesting than a corner bat with 55s across the board enjoying a stats spike during his draft year.

2:18 Does Jonathan India have enough helium to crack the Top Ten?

Kiley McDaniel

2:18 India could go 9 or 10 and is an underslot name at 6 to the Mets, but he's seen as more of a 12-18 sort of talent from the people we've talked to and that's also closer to where we rank him

In that same chat Kiley said Bart's floor is 5-6 and the pick wouldn't be made because of need but bpa.

I sure hope it doesn't workout like this. Hearing this name to much with the sixth pick.

Besides Matt Liberatore it seems Mets will take a college player at six, so does that mean they will lean prep at #48? HeynowHK it looks like Singer is the only College pitcher Mets are looking at which I'm sure your happy about.
