If nothing goes off the rails until then, it's going to be McClanahan. That feels pretty rock solid to me.

I could see him going before 6 especially if Hankins doesn't come back strong.

Yeah I think Kiley mentioned him as being in the top 4 now. Obviously this could change several times by June. I'd love for Singer to slide to 6.

What sells you on Singer? I could see him going 10-15 unless his fsb picks up.

The guy looks like a beast to me. Resembles Strasburg IMO. I know people are saying he's having some issues repeating his delivery but that can be ironed out. I'm not passing on him bc of that.

McClanahan
6 2/3 0r 4h 3bb 9k 113 pitches

Singer
7ip 0r 2h 2bb 8k

Mize well I don't know the pitchcount but he had 13ks 0 hits 0 walks and one error by the second basemen I believe. Should have been a perfect game.

I'm not on the Rollison at #6 wagon as a possible pick so no stats for him.

Mize was a beast again last night. He seems to be separating himself from the pack.

Army is no power house but pretty dang impressive. McClanahan has struggled in the first couple innings of games with command and gets better has the game goes on.

Of the many things Mize does he really impresses me with his pitch counts with all the k's

Some mocks:
-Mymlbdraft has us taking Brice Turang.
-Draftsite has us taking Nolan Gorman.

Kylie on Gorman:

Quote:
FH: What am I not seeing with Nolan Gorman? He looks like he’ll be a chunky 1B type that will strikeout a lot.

11:11
Kiley McDaniel: One of the opinions that’s getting louder the last few weeks is his body has backed up, scouts are seeing more of a 1B long-term and he’s having some trouble with spin. Very hard to rank him right now. After NHSI the whole scouting community (and me!) will get a long look at him and we’ll have some sort of consensus.

I think for a college pitcher baa is an important stat to look at. There is a gap between Singer and other top pitchers so far. I think his hit and miss stuff lacks compared to an ace or even #2 starter. The more I have read and watched I'm not interested at all.
Side note Hankins is pitching again only one inning hitting 93-94

Stock down as mets possible picks
Gorman
DeSandes
Singer

Matt Liberatore and Gorman will play against each other I believe Friday think some Mets scouts might be there? Big weekend/3 days for Gormans draft stock, he doesn't fit the Mets plans so I would love to see him go top 5.
