Nick Madrigal with a double and homer in his first two ABs. He's going to be a 5'8" beast, and a no-brainer for us if some of the more projectable players push him down the couple spots we'd need him to fall.

Fun year to follow college baseball as a mets fan. Casey Mize, Singer and McCalahan should be fun to track.

Don't forget Ryan Rolison. Has things to work on, like all amateurs not named Stephen Strasburg, but looked like he was in midseason form while carving up Winthrop in his debut.

92-94 on the fastball til about the 50th pitch, then 90-92 and obviously still stretching out. Good tempo, easy delivery, a little slider-heavy for my liking, but splittin hairs. A tick below McClanahan from a electricity standpoint, but a little stronger, little healthier, little safer if looking for a collegiate lefty.

Also another real fun watch in this game for ole Miss, LF Thomas Dillard. Just a jacked young player that is more athletic than he looks and plays with some fire. Originally a decent catching prospect, but pushed off because Cooper Johnson came in same class and was nationally known for his glove. Could be interesting to see if he gets any work behind the plate this year. If so, some Schwarber comps fit, but i can't shake the switch-hitting version of Brian Giles. '19 prospect and might get his swing reworked at the next level because his incredible top spin takes doubles and homers to knuckling singles at times... despite very good batspeed.
