Add #Mets 33rd-round pick Cole Kleszcz to the list of official draft signings. He led all college players with 27 home runs at Azusa Pacific in his junior season.

Saved $827K on Jones, Ashford, and Ritter.
Doing some rough math and speculation...
With Allan's slot of $667K, that's ~$1.5M of the reported $3M he's asking. Figure the Mets need another $1M to $1.5M to sign him depending on whether Allan is willing to back down a little bit.
Would be sweet to save at least $500K on Baty and sign Wolf for no more than slot.
If Wollersheim, Genord and Ota get similar bonuses as Jones, Ashford and Ritter, that's over $400K they can use on Allan or a Day 3 guy. Mangum might get more than $10K, but I still don't see why it would be anything close to slot. My guess is $50K, saving the Mets nearly $440K.
So, in summary:
Allan slot: $667K Saved on picks 5-6-7: $827K Saved on Baty (possibly): $500K Saved on picks 8-9-10 (possibly): $443K Saved on Mangum (possibly): $437K Potential total: $2.87M
If they need another $130K they can go over the total bonus pool and pay a $98K penalty.

Would be especially awesome if Allan can get signed for something like $2.5M and the Mets have a little bit to play with some of the interesting late round picks. Barco is not happening, but some of the other guys could be in play.

It's got to suck to be selected rounds 5-10 knowing you're going to get 10K or 1K, but if those guys were signed 11-40 they'd probably get a little more. Seems a little unfair.
Or am I overthinking it?

If they sign Ota for 1k and Mangum at 10k, that about $1.75m saved on 4-10 (52k total on the seniors). That gets you to 2.3 for Allen - so need another 600-700k from Baty and Wolf to get to 3m.
There's not going to be $$ for rounds 11+. And thats going as absolutely cheap as possible 4-10. Math just doesn't work.
