Has a workable slider. Would appear as legit LOOGY material.

The #Mets did not come to an agreement with their 11th-round draft pick Jordan Martinson, a source confirms.

Martinson was declared a free agent and has signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

I don't understand this. Why would anyone sign then...? They could just become a free agent.

Does that mean Barco can just sign with someone now?

Or is it only with seniors after round 10?

That would be another reason to want to fall beyond Round 10 as a college senior.

The draft is broken. Hopefully next bargaining agreement the vets don't sell the amateurs down the river again like they always do.

College seniors stay on the teams negotiation list till the next years draft...

This wasn’t a scenario of not coming to an agreeement due to negotiation. This was a scenario of a drafted player not being offered a contract by the Mets (or having it revoked). Considering the Mets previously announced him as signed... I’m going with the “revoked” possibility.

Not offering a contract to a drafted player moves him to Free Agency at the deadline...

Yeah, I was going to say...

This dude was listed on the Cyclones roster at one point.

Seems like a strange situation, but what do I know...

Ok, good to know. I'd guess something came out in the physical then...?
