I was channel surfing the other day and now that MTV has taken the revolutionary turn of showing videos again on weekday mornings, I caught a new video that features the 80s and 90s rapper Chubb Rock.
For me, he's in the category of artists that I was aware of, but not enough to notice when he disappeared (not that I'm anywhere close to the cutting edge of hip hop).
Anyway, I kind of liked him when he was at his peak and his rhymes that I was familiar with had a positive message.

This really isn't directed to you Chico but why do people always want a Rap or rock song to always have to have a positive message?
Books don't. Paintings don't. Films don't.
