Just got confirmation today that my right knee is worse off than my left. I had arthroscopic surgery last month on the left. Going to have my second surgery in a span of two months (july 17th). Doctor advised to separate the two surgeries which is why it isnt immediately after diagnosis.
I've had a torn acl and torn achilles (both left) in my lifetime. That doesnt include the hand surgery and multiple fractures in my right hand and a dislocated elbow. Both knees developed osteoarthritis which what made me see a doctor last month. The left was the one that was in pain, come to find out my right one is the one thats worse off. Having the surgery on the 17th of july. Another in and out surgery with just a couple hours of stay time at the facility. Hoping to find a ride again. Surgery will be at 8Am although a delay is expected like last time.
27 years old and I have arthritic knees already to go along with my arthritic hand and elbow.
Good news is recovery time is 4-6 just like my left knee. Still in rehab btw for the left. Enjoying the ultrasound type massage and actual massage from the physical therapist.
Good luck to you then and may your health improve.
It's all part of a big plan that some guy up there is executing as I type. I know sometimes it is like, "What the hey!", but it always seems to work out in the end.
I'm rooting for you.

Thanks Mike. Its all good. Im young and in excellent health/shape so docs say its should be an easy recovery. Im already healing very well in my left knee and rehab has been going great. It just sucks not to be able to do any sports activities yet. Last week a bunch of us went to play softball and I had to watch on the sidelines and this week it was touch football and laser tag afterwords. Cant risk it. So far just back and forth running and lots of stretching and massages. Good news is its given me more time to post here. My posts skyrocketed this past month.

and Im done. A little bit of fluids needed to be removed as well but all is well. Waited until I wasnt groggy and drove myself home. I was wheel chaired to my car and the nurse was like, whos driving. I told her I was even though paper work says NO DRIVING FOR 24 HOURS. Im in a little bit more pain than before due to more work being done. Guess I'll be on NYFS (even more) in the next few weeks.
and in case anyone wondering, I got prescribed the good stuff, of which I will never get filled. I try to avoid narcotics at all cost. Its advil or motrin for me. Even with the pain.
They also said no greasy food and no shower again but thats not happening
