New season of American Idol starts TONIGHT and no thread on GOT about it?

Chuck? Are you still here?

I understand there is no Simon. I understand there is no Paula, but this is American Idol. Our chance to laugh at idiots and judge bad singers. Should it really change that much? I say no.

I hope Im not the only one posting on these threads this year.

I dont think it was bad at all and Steven Tyler can definitely be a good addition.

The talent was meh, but isn't that always?

Some of the bad ones tonight were hysterical. I was not into that Otis Redding rendition at all, especially after hyping that kid two straight commercial breaks.

Can't get done with work and home at 845 and have much to offer.

I do like the last contestant in NOLA. And people wonder why I want to move there?

If you ask me, this seems like some of the better talent theyve had in a bit

Definitely kills last year, and no more Simon on cruise control
