What's some of your favorites? Specific beers and/or styles?

Anything that's not brewed in Korea.

Beer Lao is absolute awesomeness if you can find it anywhere.

A friend at work has talked up Allagash but I haven't been able to find it locally. Reading up on that Black sounds good. Especially this particular winter I have been drinking a lot of darker beers, Left Hand's Milk Stout being my favorite.

If I find the Left Hand milk stout, I'll make sure to grab it. The milk stout on my radar is the Duck Rabbit, which Obama gave to Gordon Brown (I think) when he came for a visit.

Stone is my favorite followed by Dogfish. IPA's are where it's at lately for me.

I like Stones Pale Ale a lot but that seems to be my general limit for how far I can enjoy a hoppy beer. Their hoppier ones like Arrogant Bastard or Ruination are a bit too much for me.

That Duck Rabbit Milk Stout got a very nice write up by a bunch of folks. I doubt it makes it out West though.

Yeah, the sad thing is that when we're talking microbrews, for the most part we'll be talking over each other's head because of the East-West divide.

I know this makes me seem like a heathen, but I've never had any specialty beers that I've enjoyed any more than the mass-produced ones.

Beer is my adult beverage of choice, but to me it's always been about having it as a complement to my meal.

I always want a beer when I'm eating steak, pizza, pasta, or sushi.

Also, there's nothing like a real cold beer after a hard stretch of work. But the type doesn't particularly matter to me.

I'm an IPA guy.

Green Flash - West Coast IPA
Bell's - Hopslam
Lagunitas
Smuttynose
Victory (love the Prima Pilsner)
Bear Republic - Racer 5 IPA

Troeg's - Nugget Nectar (not an IPA, but an Imperial Amber)
