Quite a force of nature in Hollywood and beyond.

Much will be said about her life and career in the days to come. One of the last from the golden age of Hollywood

Prayers Go out to her family.

The term 'Hollywood Legend' is thrown around so liberally nowadays (and sometimes being a great actor with lots of awards does not make you a 'legend' per se) but Liz Taylor was a true Hollywood Legend in every sense. Plus she was charitable and at the forefront of many causes like HIV/AIDS when it was such a taboo topic. RIP

No ordinary actress would prompt a 24 hour TCM tribute (April 10th):

Personal favorite films of Liz: Suddenly, Last Summer, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, A Place In The Sun, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

For me, my favorite Taylor Roles , are a Place in the Sun(Great Tragic movie with Montgomery Cliff(sp)) and Ivanhoe. I don't think she said all that much in Ivanhoe, but it was how she acted with her eyes which impressed me.
