Outstanding Stage and Movie Actor, who for me and many others will be best known as the rumpled, endearing dective on NBC's columbo series.

I heard that he was suffering from Alzheimer disease for a few years now. RIP to a fine actor.

Two tv legends from childhood passing away in a matter of a couple weeks or so--James Arness and now Peter Falk

I've only seen a few Columbo episodes (so far), but you could see the genius. He will be missed.
