Leased a 2011 Porsche Cayenne and on Lease contract it shows trim level Turbo, however I received an S trim. The VIN on the contract matches the VIN on the car. Is the contract void due to this error? The dealership has not contacted me in regards to this but I just noticed it. I havent contacted Porsche financial about it either. At least wont do so until I can get more info. Tried contacting dozens of lawyers and no one seems to be in. Was hoping to get lucky here and possibly find a lawyer willing to offer some advice.

Not a professional opinion (maybe a lawyer will chime in) but I think if both parties agreed to the purchase of the S trim then the contract conforms to the parties' beliefs. I could be mistaken, though.

I wouldn't ignore it. I'm not a professional either but I had a problem a few years back with my insurance company when they ran the VIN. Apparently, the VIN provides more information than just identification. When I balked at not receiving credit for certain safety equipment that came stock, from the factory, with the new car, they informed me that the model attached to the VIN didn't have the items I claimed, even though I could actually see them on the car. I returned to the dealer with that information. After about an hour of waiting while they "verified" information on the vehicle, they voided the lease and offered me a better vehicle for the same price, "for my trouble". They explained that, apparently, there was an error from the factory and an improper VIN number was issued to that vehicle, making it impossible for that vehicle to be sold and that they would have to return it to the manufacturer. This happened with a new vehicle from an authorized and reputable new car dealership.
