ESPN, which is not always the most reputable when it comes to breaking revolutionary sporting news, does a good job on its analysis for the need of MLB to adjust how it deals with pitcher's mechanics. While the news is revolutionary it is the first time I have seen a major sports player show any interest in detail the alarming practice associated with pitchers' deliveries. We also have some people with some experience and thoughts on here so it might be interesting to pass along. Also, it details some about the man affectionately know as The Jacket, Rick Peterson. Interestingly, he believes that part of being dismissed with the Mets and Brew Crew were associated with his beliefs on bio-metrics and trying to change pitchers' deliveries to prevent injury. It also details how Strasburg has a recipe for disaster in poor mechanics and overuse, almost ensuring him more trouble in the future.
