Thats a pretty nice job by them.

(since Metro did this for his Badenhop post).

 I turned on the Brewers game very briefly and the first words out of the announcers mouth were "Here comes Badenhop who has been a great find for the Brewers". I had to. lol

He's 4 starts in with a 1.30 WHIP. I hope he does well though, he's on 2 of my fantasy teams.

...with a 2.3 ERA and a 1.7 FIP? Ok.

Shoulda waited. 2.17 ERA, 1.31 FIP, 2.05 xFIP now.

30+% K rate. He's already earned more than his base salary.

I'm loving it. Hope he doesn't have a classic Liriano blow-up coming, though.

So we all knew the Tigers were going to have one of the best rotations in baseball, but wow: they have 4 starters in the top 10 of pitcher fWAR, including 3 of the top 5. The one starter missing from that elite group, Rick Porcello, has a sub-3 xFIP himself. Wow.

He'll be best friends with A-Rod. They have a mutual friend in Anthony Bosch.

So, uh, Justin Smoak currently has a .267/.369/.419 slash line, good for a 126 wRC+. For reference, Prince Fielder has a 123 wRC+ this season, albeit in a bigger sample size.

Never give up the hope!

Smoak's a local kid for me, so it's great to see.
