My analysis: follow closely because it gets complicated....

I could not hate the St. Louis Cardinals more. They are the devil.

One takeaway that I learned from this series:

You can easily see how the Pirates won't ever regret dealing Vic Black, despite it being a huge win in our eyes for 1.5 months of a rental. They have SO MANY young power arms, who on top of approaching triple digits with their fastballs, have good command as well.

Vic Black could be our second best reliever next year and he might've not even been in Pittsburgh's top 7.

I hate Yadier Molina. I hate him more than I hate any player that's not on the Phils, Braves, or Yankees. I hate Waino too. Curse the corpse of So Taguchi. Screw Scott Spiezio and every single red hair on his stupid goatee. PHOOEY YOU JEFF SUPPAN.

With Oakland now eliminated I can truly say I have no interest in the resolution of the MLB playoffs.

It's just like with Pittsburgh last night, once they lost that game 4 up 3-0... you knew it was all over

Carlos Beltran is the best in the postseason.

The TBS broadcast is just awful.

Ernie Johnson is terrible. Cal Ripken is a rough listen. The camerawork is subpar. The director isn't good. The graphics are often inaccurate and they freeze at times.

It's too bad they're under contract through 2021, but at least they lose two of the ALDS/NLDS starting next year.
