NL:
CY- Arrieta
MVP- Harper (side note: amazing the DBacks could be so bad with 2 likely top 5 MVP finishers, plus the guy who might be the best hitter in the NL in the 2nd half this side of Joey Votto's insanity in David Peralta)
ROY- Bryant
MOY- Maddon

AL-
CY- David Price after a strong final month leading the Jays to the playoffs for the first time in decades
MVP- Donaldson
ROY- Correa
MOY- Hinch

To add on, I'd vote Harvey the NL Comeback Player of the Year and Sandy the NL Executive of the Year.

For my money Harper is running away with MVP for a team that very possibly misses the playoffs.

I'll be accused of being my usual anti-Sandy self (although for the record I have had nothing but praise for all of his moves this year EXCEPT the EOF move which I accosted in defense of his prior Alex Torres move, so...yeah), but shouldn't this really just have to come down to he and Theo based on who finishes ahead? Pretty much have the same story here with the downtrodden franchises going through a long rebuild suddenly coming to life.

I guess you could say Sandy gets more credit for the in-season moves, but thats a reflection of the lack of pre-season moves no?

I think Sandy should fit this award better since more of his moves came this year, especially at the deadline. Obviously, Theo did add Lester in the offseason.

Dexter Fowler really underrated move too, he's been fantastic.

And how do you just overlook this? Sure, the Mets make the playoffs and even win a round and then all previous misdeeds are forgotten I know. But isn't this team leading the div by double digits had they actually addressed glaring roster issues before the season as everyone was screaming about? Would they have had to empty out all of the pitching surplus they ended up doing had they began the season with another arm or two in the pen and a ML bench?

One of Theo's moves I didn't like was Castillo for Medina. Why give away Castillo? Why is he so undervalued/underrated?

Yeah, though to be fair he was significantly outdone on that front by Jack Z's inclusion of Castillo as a dump in the Trumbo disaster, despite the M's having literally no capable catchers whatsoever.

At least with Theo he was working from standpoint of having a starter, a veteran backup/personal catcher, and a top prospect within a hair of the majors at the time.

Just to be clear I think Theo is an excellent GM. Just weird they were willing to throw him away for an "okay" arm when he has been an above average "starterish" player for a few seasons now. It's not as if his salary was such that he would be "silly" as a backup C. He's pretty underrated for his career looking at his numbers.
