are slipping. When the Brewers traded for Neil Walker they were in the race for the division. The Cubs were a tough club to catch, but within reach.
The BrewCrew were 59-59 on August 12 (before the finish of the games), 3 games behind the 60-54 Cubs and 7.5 games behind the Rockies at 65-50.
The Rockies have slipped, while the Cubs and Brewers have been strong. Now the Brewers are just 1 game behind the Rockies for that final wildcard spot.
