Like I said, teams will be sniffing for those screen passes that turn into 70 yard TD passes. Limit those and they're going to lose.

Questions about his arm strength aside, I've never seen a throw he couldn't make. He's brilliant on deep side patterns, usually considered the hardest throws to make. And his receivers are beasts.

LOL @ 'Maine Event'...you clearly have not watched Rivers play THIS season.

Every throw he just whips it downfield. The combo of Rivers+Jackson downfield has been virtually unstoppable this season.

Rivers is a top 5 QB. He's just below the group of Manning, Brees, Brady

You clearly see different things that what I am seeing. Unfortunately so are most of the yuck ups.

This team will not win the superbowl. They wont even make it. Heck they may not even make it to the afc championship game. I've watched each and every moment of every game they have played. They are the cowboys of the AFC.

I'll put $100 on it that they dont even get to the championship game let alone the superbowl. Remember that. If I win, you wont have to give me anything.

I'll send it paypal or money order.

How about it?

Only the Jets between me and victory?

Jets can neutralize Jackson with Revis. The SD running game is virtually non-existent. If the Jets contain Gates they have a decent shot.

Gates is definitely the guy the Jets need to concentrate on within the middle of the field. Also, Rhodes will be very critical on the other side helping out Lito with Floyd. Floyd is a huge target so I expect Rhodes will be helping Lito over the top some just to keep him contained.

Don't ever wanna doubt Revis, but 6'5" Jackson is gonna be a tough matchup for him. And doubtful he'll be able to push him around at all - seems like the refs have it out for him lately with the ridiculous Illegal Contact calls - kinda like how they starting flagging Law later in his career when he was too shutdown.

Revis has shut down the very best WR in the league of all different sizes and skill-sets so I don't see Jackson being any different.

+1

Revis has been able to shut down better receivers than Jackson this season. Jackson is really good, but he isn't in Moss or Johnson's class. Granted, Moss is tall but not necessarily a physical player, but A. Johnson, M. Colston, and T. Owens are and they did next to nothing against him. I also consider those receivers equal to if not better than Jackson (Johnson is light years better).

Covering Jackson isn't the problem. Rivers has become great at putting the ball where only Jackson's freakishly large body can get it.
