Overall, pretty good I thought. The abundance of really, really good QB's has made choosing 3 per conference really hard but I think they got the right 6 overall.
Been watching the NFL a long time, and there have never been this many good to great QB's. For a while the 3rd Pro Bowl guy was usually a stiff. Now 7 or 8 really good QB's didn't make it.
Locally, Steve Smith probably has the biggest beef. Even as a Cowboy fan, I could have understood him over Austin.

Steve Smith got robbed. As did Snee. O'hara as the Giants guy? I mean, he deserves it, but he's not even the best guy on the OL

the pro bowl voting is a joke. You have a guy who obviously deserves to go. I can make a case that he is the only player who deserve to go. Heck even as a stupid alternate. Ohara wasnt even the best OL for the Giants. Maybe Steve Smith can work on his TD celesbrations more and he would have gotten in. I guess flashy plays beats out stats any day of the week. Not like the guys who got in didnt deserve the mention but how about the guy who at one point led the league in receptions AND yards

HELLO!

It's hard to evaluate O-Lineman from around the league because I think you need to see game film of everyone. Largely, these guys get the nod on reputation.

Austin has more yards, 4 more TDs, and has been huge for the Cowboys. And by huge I mean incredibly clutch.

I don't care if Smith led the league in yards back in Week 6 or whatever it was.

Half of the guys who got "robbed" will end up going to the Pro Bowl anyway. None of the players actually want to go to Hawaii, so you end up getting a lot of phantom injuries and illnesses.

Plus, I mean, does anyone *actually* care about who makes the Pro Bowl for more than 10 seconds?

The people doing pro scouting for the Jets know what they're doing.

Austin was a virtual unknown when the Jets pursued him in the offseason.

The Cowboys kept him and he went from raw backup to Pro Bowler.

No one takes the Pro Bowl seriously, but it's really a pretty good honor.

There's none of the nonsense where every team has to be represented and there are always a lot of good players who don't make the original selection.

The game is in Dolphin Stadium this year, not Hawaii. It is on January 31, the week before the Super Bowl.

i didnt say anything about miles. Im well aware of his numbers as his first big game, he scored 42 points against me in fantasy. Since then my eyes were wide open. In any case he deserves to go. Def. over rice.
