Great deal. Cromartie will be an RFA after this upcoming season.

Cromartie has great ball skills and he thrived in aggressive systems his first two years. Much of that is due to Wade Phillips running that type of scheme.

Cromartie>Lito.

Good deal. Cromartie is raw and up-and-down, AJ Smith completely overestimated his value, but he is still talented. Still he went from an all-pro rookie year to Elvis "Toast" Paterson the next year, but as of late he has his head above water. Late third round pick exchange is definitely reasonable.

Is Jones coming back a done deal?

Yeah, and if you're using the "He's 19" logic, then I guess the best report a scout could give us is:

"I have no idea. He's a teenager. He may go through 5 arm surgeries between now and his 30th birthday. He may add a pitch. He may lose a pitch. He may put on 30 lbs and add velocity. He may put on 50 lbs and eat his way out of the league. I literally have no idea what he is going to be."

But thats not what these guys are paid to do, nor what we are looking for them to do, right?

03/06 – The Jets announced early this evening that they have reached an agreement in principal to trade safety Kerry Rhodes to Arizona. In return, the Cards are sending the Jets a fourth-round pick in April's draft and a seventh-round pick in the 2011 draft.

The writing was on the wall. It would have been nice to get more for Kerry, but we could use the picks. I thought he would fetch a late third rounder, but good for Arizona. Kerry can be a great safety in the right system. He didn't fit Rex's system and he still had a good year. That is something both Kerry and Rex should get credit for.

I look forward to seeing who Kerry's successor is.

All signs seem to be pointing to Tomlinson as a Jet.

According to PFT, Rex Ryan had some medical procedure done. No clue what it is but wish him a speedy recovery.

The Jets have cut Alan Faneca.

Sad to see him go, but it may end up being the right football move. He is still a starting caliber guard and I wish him well.

His name is John Conner. And he is good? That is awesome.

TRich's replacement. And we got Joe McKnight to be Leon's replacement. Leon was a great player and a quality guy, but he is replaceable.

I agree but it was interesting that the Jets added a side 7th round pick rather than the Seahawks.
