I like the Vlad pick. His name is Vladimir. That is awesome.

I hope we can keep Alan Faneca. He has been a good soldier and keeping a line together is very important.

Jets are scary now. 1st rounder was a killer pick.

Signed,

So far:
Pats did well for themselves in spite of the hubris of piling picks for next year. I cannot really argue with the picks except that Cunningham was a bit of a reach. There is talent there.

Raiders surprising have done well for themselves this last two days. It feels so inadequate to type that.

Eagles first two picks are good (though Graham is undersized) but then that 3rd rounder DE from U-Dub was just such a major reach.

I know some people will drool over the 49ers draft but to me this is such a typical draft from them. How many O-Linemen do they have and how many of those guys picked before are still there? Good luck with Taylor Mays, btw. What a tool.

Sean Lee, can he be a good sidekick to Brooking or is he another Bobby Carpenter? I have little doubt Bryant will be a player but Lee definitely has something to prove.

Vikings have had the strangest draft. Nothing against Gerhart, and I think he went actually where he should, but he is an odd fit for that team. No addressing interior to replace Pat Williams and they reached to get a corner with an underwhelming first selection.

I take back what I said about Alualua earlier in the thread. Troup was the worst/biggest reach of the draft. So many needs not addressed.

Saints draft has been.. interesting. Robinson is situational, Brown may start if there is an injury, and Graham is purely a back-up. Still a lot of needs.

Chiefs really want an exciting special teams with McCluster and Arenas.

Falcons filled their needs though Peters was a tremendous reach.

Ravens and Colts to me have had the best drafts.

Cannot believe Chicago's first pick was on Major Wright.

Like what the Jets are doing.

No idea what Miami is doing. They picked good players but not needs.

Impressed with Cleveland, Detroit, and Cincy. Hopefully it does not transpire to be a bad draft like in the past with these teams.

I have come to terms with JPP. Osi is not going anywhere so I am happy. People may be mad that major needs were not taken tonight but I really liked the picks. JR's nature is if there is a lack of depth in players he likes at a position, he ignores. Also keep in mind how much Perry Fewell's presence as DC plays into the picks.

OK I have no idea if this was a board-wide shutdown but come on, boys, this thread can continue without me.

ESPN has been not paying attention since Day 1 of who has been picked. Mayock lost his voice so he is giving analysis live on nfl.com.

Giants take ILB Phil Dillard. He sounds like a character for Rugrats. I saw little of him since when I was watching Nebraska the center of my attention was SUUUUUUUUUHHHHH.

Jets take McKnight and trade Leon Washington to Seattle for John Conner. Jets need him for the resistance. Seattle, you are having a great draft.

Pats take P Zoltan Mesko from Michigan. The first NFL player drafted from Romania.

Kirk Morrison traded to the Jaguars.

Jason Campbell is going to the Raiders.

They totally locked Al Davis in the closet. It all makes too much sense.

Cardinals have drafted QB John Skelton from Fordham.

Steelers traded their 6th round pick to Cardinals for CB Brian McFadden.

Bills draft C Ed Wang, the first Chinese-American player taken in the NFL Draft.

Arthur Jones gets taken by the Ravens. They are having a sick draft.

Riley Cooper, two-sport at Florida, goes to the Eagles. Could be good or could be another Jeremy Bloom case.

Matt Tennant goes to the Saints. Nothing against Tennant but this is a strange draft for the Saints. Most of these guys will be on the bench starting the season.

Jevan Snead, he is going to go undrafted and people are going to kill McShay for saying that guy was 1st round material. Kiper cannot wait to bag on him after that Clausen battle.
