Jonathan Crompton was taken by the Chargers.... over Jevan Snead.

Rex is on, Jets fans.

Seahawks got Lendale White in a trade and they drafted Anthony McCoy. Who says Pete Carroll has no loyalty to USC players? Hi, Taylor Mays.

Feagles will have an open competition and will compete against Hodge. I think some players we drafted may have competed against his son who is a PK at UNC. Yep, Iron Man is that old.

Spags took my carrot boom-bust pick Selvie. Great minds think alike.

Dorin Dickerson FINALLY went to the Texans. Daniels, Graham, and Dickerson will be pretty nuts.

I stand by saying the Ravens had the best draft. Disgusting and unfair.

Mr. Irrelevant coming soon.

Myron Rolle was taken by the Titans at 207.

It looks like Snead will be a UDFA. I really hope he graduated (I believe he sat out for a season on transfer to make that possible).

Jake Locker, be scared by this Todd McShay love. 'Tis poison.

Mr. Irrelevant is......

WR Tim Toone WR Weber State.

The crowd reaction was embarrassing. If you waited to stay that long, I think you care.

Oh god, I will leave that to the PLW and the real experts. That's too much.

Prospectus, some may have doubted your "Mega-Epic" claim, but I believe this thread lives up to its billing. Well done, madam.

Thanks, MikeH.

Some total armchair GM thoughts:

Whoever was in Jevan Snead's inner-circle needed to be fired the moment he signed as a UDFA from the Bucs. That advice and hype cost him dearly.

Eagles really loved this year's DEs.

Somebody needs to tell Denver that you play defense in this game too.

I firmly believe teams' body of work cause writers to consider certain organizations 'winners' and 'losers'. I really see little difference with what the Patriots did versus what the Bengals did but one team is deemed a winner and the other is deemed a loser. Could work, could not work.

When Time Warner/Comcast/whoever have that discussion with the NFL over the NFL Network the NFL ought to use the ESPN 2010 Draft telecast as evidence there is need for an alternative for NFL fans.

Was it just me and my Giants fandom or was there way too much Eagles love going on? I expect that stuff from Jaws, his fatal flaw imo, but I did not need to hear about Berman and Reid body-surfing. TMI!!!!!!!!

ESPN saying the draft was all about the QB drama is so self-referential and self-reverential.

For a network that spent months hyping McShay versus Kiper on Sports Center every day it seemed, they only had them together for one day and Kiper barely got to speak. Steve Young sucked all the energy out of the room.

NFL needs to stop turning it into a novelty act getting special guests to announce the picks. Too reminiscent of the NHL draft or even the NBA Draft lottery. What is next? Every team congratulating the Super Bowl winner? Also was not into the guys hanging out in the green room on multiple days. Keep it at a standard number of people expected to go early.

I love how for ESPN the history of the NFL Draft started in 1982 and that Mark Sanchez was featured more than say John Elway, Tom Brady, Dan Marino, etc.

I prefer Tags' cadence and announcements over Goodell's clearly uncomfortable and stare up at the cheap seats announcements. Can we just give him a job doing that for one round? Heck let's get the technology together to make it Rozelle announce the picks no.... John Fascenda.

I don't blame you, even I take a backseat for that.

This is a bit disappointing:
http://blog.timesunion.com/mcguire/in-a ... -nfl/7547/

I was looking forward to a local kid getting to play in the NFL and this guy quits than be a UDFA who had a shot at playing for the Cowboys. I am not trying to pass judgment but Scotty Sicko, you are making a terrible mistake. LaCanfora's 3rd round prediction to the Giants now looks even more ridiculous. This doubles my relief that did not take place.
