I'm old enough to remember when the games in August were called "exhibition games".
Apparently, the minds that run the NFL decided that devalued those games in the mind of the public, so they became "preseason games".
Now NFLspeak is back in effect when it comes to naming the location of the Super Bowl.
I first noticed it last year when the game was played in "South Florida" instead of Miami. Now I hear the upcoming Super Bowl isn't in Dallas, it's in "North Texas".
I'm trying to figure out the reasoning behind this latest move. There has to be a financial angle, but I don't know what it is.

I think it is mainly because the stadium is in Arlington not Dallas. The Phoenix super bowl was in Glendale. Technically the Miami super bowl was 16 miles away from Miami in Miami Gardens.
