Re-Draft time!

http://walterfootball.com/draft2011redraft_4.php

Round 4

Quote:
Buffalo Bills: Sam Acho, DE/OLB, Texas
I had this pick in Round 3 of my Re-Draft, so let's keep it the same.

Quote:
New York Giants: Luke Stocker, TE, Tennessee
The Giants take yet another prospect who falls to them.

New York could stand to improve the tight end position; Kevin Boss is a decent player, but he's nothing special. Luke Stocker is a steal in the middle of Round 4.

Quote:
Buffalo Bills: Lee Ziemba, OT/G, Auburn
The Bills have to find an upgrade sometime during the 2011 NFL Draft, right?

Quote:
New York Jets: Jeremy Beal, DE/OLB, Oklahoma
It never hurts to have as many quality pass-rushers as possible when you have to go through Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger every year to get to the Super Bowl.

Jeremy Beal had a terrible Senior Bowl and Combine, so his stock is slipping. But Brandon Spikes, another "falling" prospect, just enjoyed a great rookie campaign for New England. Rex Ryan may want to utilize the same strategy.

Round 5
Quote:
Buffalo Bills: D.J. Williams, TE, Arkansas
Shawn Nelson has been a big disappointment at tight end. Buffalo needs to give Andy Dalton an intermediate weapon to work with.

Quote:
New York Jets: DeAndre McDaniel, S, Clemson
The Jets could be looking for safety help in the third day of the 2011 NFL Draft, and DeAndre McDaniel is one of the top players available.

The guys I want the Giants to go after are Stocker, Greg Jones, Colin McCarthy, Clint Boling, or Kris O'Dowd.

Making picks straight from the table. Sorry, but Goodell has turned this into a telethon. I am waiting for Detlef Schrempf and Jerry Lewis to show up at this point.

Getting back to the Kenrick Ellis pick, Rich Cimini really shows no journalistic objectivity, creativity, or humor in his tweet:
Quote:
RichCimini Rich Cimini
With the 94th pick in the draft, the #Jets select druggie Kenrick Ellis, a NT from Hampton.

http://twitter.com/#!/richcimini

I cannot believe he has not deleted the tweet yet. Beyond unprofessional.

I mean, a joke about his upcoming trial like Cris Mankowski (sp?) made where he may be "locked in" (rather than locked out) would have been clever if he wanted criticize the pick. That's just like you stated: no creativity/humor at all...

Yeah, and if you're using the "He's 19" logic, then I guess the best report a scout could give us is:

"I have no idea. He's a teenager. He may go through 5 arm surgeries between now and his 30th birthday. He may add a pitch. He may lose a pitch. He may put on 30 lbs and add velocity. He may put on 50 lbs and eat his way out of the league. I literally have no idea what he is going to be."

But thats not what these guys are paid to do, nor what we are looking for them to do, right?

I'm hoping Chris Carter drops to the Jets.

ESPN finally brought out McShay from the kids table. Why did they rob us of a potential Crossfire between him and Kiper for the first two days?

RB Bilal Powell of Louisville is the Jets pick. They were about to throw a party in the Jets war room.
